Our Keynote Speaker this year is Douglas Stoup
Douglas Stoup is the world’s leading polar explorer and has pioneered skiing in some of the most remote places on the planet. From completing the first ski and snowboard descent of the highest peak in Antarctica to skiing first descents in Svalbard and 8000m peaks in the Himalaya. He owns and operates Ice Axe Expeditions which leads backcountry skiers and boarders to Antarctica, Svalbard, Greenland, Iceland, Baffin, Alaska, Chile, Morocco, Kamchatka and Kashmir. He founded Ice Axe Foundation which launched Impact School which connects students on 9 domestic and international field trips to learn more about our fragile ecosystems. Mr. Stoup is an Expedition Leader, Environmentalist, Humanitarian, Father and Husband. Douglas will take you on a journey from Pole to Pole through “SKIING THE PLANET”
