Alpine/ Snowboard/ Freestyle Coaches 2012-13 season
Auburn Ski Club is accepting coaching applications and resume’s for the 2012-13 season. Located on Donner Summit, ASC offers Jr. programs for Alpine/Snowboard/Freestyle based out of the ASC Training Center adjacent to Boreal Mt. Resort where ASC has a dedicated lighted race/training arena. (www.auburnskiclub.org) Available Alpine and Freestyle ski coaching positions are primarily weekend/holidays/week-nights and range from entry level, all mountain development, race crew to age class teams competing regionally and nationally. Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra

Adaptive Ski/Snowboard Instructor
An Instructor with Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra is a full time, 40 hour/5 day per week/winter seasonal position teaching primarily skiing, but occasionally snowboarding, to both cognitively and physically disabled students. DSES is located at Mammoth Mountain inside the Main Lodge Panorama Gondola Building. Instructors teach two lessons per day with additional duties/clinics outside of lesson times.

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements:
Level 1 or 2 Adaptive or Alpine Certifications.
Ability/experience teaching beginning to intermediate levels of alpine skiing.
Ability/experience teaching beginning levels of Snowboarding.
Ability to adapt communication styles to student’s learning abilities.
Compassion and patience.
Ability to work positively in a close knit environment with others.
Experience teaching adaptive methodologies preferred, but not necessary.
Ability to be a role model to other Instructors.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs in full ski gear.
Must meet Mammoth Mountain Employee Grooming requirements, clean shaven and collar length hair.

Pay:
Pay is based upon experience and certification(s).

Royal Gorge Cross-Country is hiring Part Time Ski Instructors for the 2011/2012 season.
Royal Gorge Cross-Country located in Soda Springs on Donner Summit is a premiere cross-country ski destination and is looking for experienced PSIA trained / Certified Nordic ski instructors. There are a few entry level/trainee positions available for a strong intermediate or advanced Nordic skier with an interest in teaching.
The successful candidate will:
• Be strong intermediate or advanced Nordic skier with teaching experience. (PSIA certification preferred but not essential)
• Have excellent communication skills; friendly personality and excellent customer service skills
• Wage ranging from $10 to 15/ hr depending on experience and PSIA Certification

Kids Club Manager

The Kids Club Manager provides leadership to staff and is responsible for the profitability and performance of the department.
Performs and controls departmental spending and budgeting. Drives profitability performance and tracks results daily.
Supervises ski school program, including clinics, line-ups and instruction.
Facilitates instruction, demonstration, and care for students of all ages and abilities for ski and snowboard instruction. May also be required to serve as an Instructor as needed.
Must be accountable for managing children, including dressing children, training and assisting students in using their equipment and with lifts.
