Kevin Klein

I have been teaching snowboarding as an AASI certified instructor for over 20 years in the Tahoe area (I received my 20 year pin last season!).  I like to think that we improve people’s lives through snowboarding.  For example,  a student once told me that all they can think about back in the Bay Area is snowboarding and that they started working out so they could ride longer and better when they come up here.  This person now is changing their life for the better because of their new found passion for snowboarding.  This is why I keep coming back.

Elisa Chapman

Over the last 13 years, I have lived and snowboarded in Mammoth, North Lake Tahoe, and Aspen.
Of those 13 years, I have taught and coached in each of these locations for a total of 10 years.
Currently, I am based in Tahoe City and am finishing a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology.  I have worked with snowboarders (amongst other sports) at the junior world, NorAm, and RevTour levels on their mental approach to training and competition.

Jeb has been with our Tech Team since 2008.  He began his teaching career at Boreal at age 16, which lead to teaching at Squaw Valley and Aspen Snowmass.  Around his passion for snowboarding he also loves teaching skiing and going surfing.  “What lead me to being an examiner was completing many different certifications PSIA/AASI has to offer.  I love the camaraderie of our Western education staff, and the incredible talent our team has to inspire and lead instructors to obtain their certification goals.”
