You can receive PSIA-AASI Outside Education Credits for any DIRT Series Mountain Bike, Tahoe XC, or NASTC Course you join this summer.
DIRT Series is a woman-inclusive, co-ed, youth-female mountain bike skills camp that supports new and experienced riders and everyone in between those levels. Visit their website at, https://dirtseries.com/ to view their full calendar and course registration.
Tahoe XC Courses are run in Tahoe and they offer a wide variety of group and private lessons. All of their offerings are found at this LINK.
NASTC, which is located in Truckee, will also host various programs for you:
- Introduction to Climbing – Saturday, August 27 & Sunday, August 28 – Join Erik Moore, AMGA Certified Rock Guide, as he teaches an introduction to the climbing course. This course was put together by Chris Fellows, PSIA-AASI Western Education staff and former National Team member. This course will get you on the rock, enjoying the fantastic views of Donner Lake and the Truckee area. You‘ll learn how to connect skiing and snowboarding movement patterns to climbing. Just like skiing and snowboarding, your legs are essential! Register for one or both days.
- Two-Day Climbing Systems & Risk Management – Saturday, September 24 & Sunday, September 25 – NASTC will host a two-day climbing system and risk management course. Lots of climbing is also included! You‘ll learn about the basics of building safe climbing systems and supporting your partner, all of which tie into the decisions we make every day on the snow with our students and the groups we lead.
- Avalanche Level 1 – Dates TBD (This Winter) – NASTC will offer this course just for PSIA-AASI members. Dates TBD, though they will be before December 25.

You’ll be approved to receive outside education credits if you register and complete any of the above courses. Please fill out this FORM. Credits are $10/hour of CEU for each hour requested. IF you paid a delinquent fee when you renewed your dues that can be applied toward your outside CEU payment.
