Your best chance of gaining a spot on the roster is by registering 3-weeks prior to the event. Rates will increase 2-weeks prior and again at 1-week prior to an event start date. Space in the event is based on the staff we have available and the capacity of the space/resort.

About This Course
Prep Courses are designed to help you arrive at your assessment day confident, prepared, and clear on what examiners are looking for. Led by PSIA-AASI Western Region Education Staff, this course provides a focused day of preparation for the Telemark Level 1 assessment, covering the activities, standards, and performance expectations you will encounter.
What You Will Gain
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
• Describe what examiners look for in the Telemark Level 1 assessment
• Demonstrate your current performance and identify key development areas
• Leave with a targeted preparation plan for assessment day

This event supports preparation for the PSIA-AASI National Certification Standards in the following skill areas. Not all levels listed below may be applicable to every participant -- focus on the level(s) most relevant to your current certification goals.

Who Should Attend
Designed for Telemark instructors registered or planning to register for the Telemark Level 1 assessment.
This course is excellent preparation for the Telemark Level 1 assessment.
Prerequisites:
• Current PSIA-AASI membership and ability to safely ski all terrain through easy Black Diamond
What to Bring
• Relevant Performance Guide (available at thesnowpros.org)
• Appropriate equipment for all terrain included in the course
• Helmets are mandatory
