Your best chance of gaining a spot on the roster is by registering 3-weeks prior to the event.  Rates will increase 2-weeks prior and again at 1-week prior to an event start date.  Space in the event is based on the staff we have available and the capacity of the space/resort.

Course Description:

About This Clinic

Western Region education clinics are non-exam-focused events designed to explore instructor skills and mountain terrain in a fun and supportive environment. Strategies for personalizing the group lesson experience -- from goal-setting and student profiling to adaptive activity selection and individualized feedback.

What You Will Gain

By the end of this clinic, you will be able to:

  • Apply personalization strategies to group lesson delivery
  • Design activities that meet diverse student needs within a group structure
  • Connect curated lesson approaches to People Skills and Teaching Skills national standards

Open to all current PSIA-AASI members. Designed for All disciplines instructors.

Particularly valuable for members preparing for Teach assessments and Children's Specialist credentials.


Prerequisites:

  • Current PSIA-AASI membership
  • Ability to safely ski/ride terrain included in the clinic

What to Bring

  • Appropriate equipment for the day's terrain
  • Helmets are mandatory
