Your best chance of gaining a spot on the roster is by registering 3-weeks prior to the event.  Rates will increase 2-weeks prior and again at 1-week prior to an event start date.  Space in the event is based on the staff we have available and the capacity of the space/resort.

About This Course

Prep Courses are designed to help you arrive at your assessment day confident, prepared, and clear on what examiners are looking for. Led by PSIA-AASI Western Region Education Staff, this course provides a focused day of preparation for the SS2 credential, covering the activities, standards, and performance expectations you will encounter.

What You Will Gain

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Describe what examiners look for in the SS2 credential
  • Demonstrate your current performance and identify key development areas
  • Leave with a targeted preparation plan for assessment day

  • Senior Specialist 1 certification

  • Relevant Performance Guide (available at thesnowpros.org)
  • Appropriate equipment for all terrain included in the course
  • Helmets are mandatory
