Your best chance of gaining a spot on the roster is by registering 3-weeks prior to the event.  Rates will increase 2-weeks prior and again at 1-week prior to an event start date.  Space in the event is based on the staff we have available and the capacity of the space/resort.

Course Description:

About This Clinic

Western Region education clinics are non-exam-focused events designed to explore instructor skills and mountain terrain in a fun and supportive environment. Understanding why movements happen -- not just what they look like -- is the key to effective movement analysis. This clinic dives into cause and effect relationships at work in skiing and snowboarding, giving you a more powerful framework for observation, evaluation, and prescription.

What You Will Gain

By the end of this clinic, you will be able to:

• Identify cause and effect relationships in skiing and riding performance
• Apply this understanding to the Observe, Evaluate, Prescribe framework
• Deliver more accurate and actionable movement analysis in your lessons

Open to all current PSIA-AASI members across Alpine, Snowboard, and Telemark disciplines.

Particularly valuable for members preparing for Tech/MA and Teach assessments at any level.

Prerequisites:

• Current PSIA-AASI membership

What to Bring

• Appropriate equipment for the day's terrain
• Helmets are mandatory
