About This Webinar
PSIA-AASI Western Region webinars are one-hour online sessions designed to deepen your knowledge and support your development as a snowsports professional -- all from the comfort of home. Each session is 1 CEU. Forces, friction, gravity, and momentum are always at work when we ski and ride. This session makes physics approachable and relevant, showing how these forces make you a more knowledgeable and effective instructor.
What You Will Gain

- Describe how key physics concepts apply to skiing and snowboarding
- Connect physics principles to technique, terrain selection, and student performance
- Use physics knowledge to enhance explanations and demonstrations in lessons
