Prerequisites (exceptions to prerequisites can only be made through petition) :: Current PSIA-AASI Membership, Snowboard Level 1 Certification

Your best chance of gaining a spot on the roster is by registering 3-weeks prior to the event. Rates will increase 2-weeks prior and again at 1-week prior to an event start date. Space in the event is based on the staff we have available and the capacity of the space/resort.

About This Course
Prep Courses are designed to help you arrive at your assessment day confident, prepared, and clear on what examiners are looking for. Led by PSIA-AASI Western Region Education Staff, this course provides a focused day of preparation for the Adaptive Snowboard Level 1 certification, covering the activities, standards, and performance expectations you will encounter.
What You Will Gain
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Describe what examiners look for in the Adaptive Snowboard Level 1 certification
- Demonstrate your current performance and identify key development areas
- Leave with a targeted preparation plan for assessment day

Designed for Adaptive Snowboard instructors registered or planning to register for the Adaptive Snowboard Level 1 certification.
This course is excellent preparation for the Adaptive Snowboard Level 1 certification.

- Current PSIA-AASI membership
- Level 1 Snowboard certification
What to Bring
- Relevant Performance Guide (available at thesnowpros.org)
- Appropriate equipment for all terrain included in the course
- Helmets are mandatory
