This is a casual virtual forum to discuss hot topics, success stories, challenges you may be struggling with, or just to connect with other members and share how your week is going. Campfire Chats are always free to members, and there is always a spot waiting for you.
Keepin’ it Casual with Chris Lange

Chris Lange has been a snowboard educator with over 20 years of experience. Chris is the current AASI-W Snowboard Committee chair and member of the National Task force. Chris has managed several ski schools and has been influential in progressing snowboard education. Chris has played an active role in international certification programs, bringing the passion for snowboard education to all parts of the world. Chris is the current Director of Operations for My Snow Coach.
Cross Country Skiing Circa 2021 with Paul Petersen and Alana Gillmore

Interest in XC is very high this winter across all disciplines. This is your chance to receive advice, guidance and ideas from two very knowledgeable and experienced PSIA pros.
Alana Gillmore, part of the Thomas Endurance Coaching group, a XC Ski Coach and a PSIA XC Ski Instructor (and PSIA-W Ed Staff member) at Tamarack Cross Country Ski Area in Mammoth Lakes, CA. She holds USA Triathlon and TrainingPeaks Coach Certifications and is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist. She received her Bachelors of Science from the University of California at Berkeley and lives in California’s High Sierra where she Nordic skis and plays in the mountains.
Paul Petersen is a PSIA-W XC Task Force volunteer, Level 3 XC and Telemark instructor and Clinician, Level 2 Alpine instructor and trainer, 3 Term PSIA National Team member and 1 Term Coach. He is the former owner of Bear Valley Cross Country, CA and continues to educate, inspire and entertain every chance he gets.

Kim Meares is Co-Chair Adaptive Task Force PSIA-AASI W, Member of the National Adaptive Task Force, Staff Trainer for Alpine and Adaptive at Snow Valley Mountain Resort, and Psychotherapist in Private Practice. Chat with Kim to discuss tools to working with challenging students.
Why Not to Strive for the Perfect Turn with Lynnea Anderson

Lynnea is the Alpine Task Force Chair, Alpine Team Trainer, Examiner & Educator. She has been a PSIA- AASI member since 2001, and when not skiing can be found climbing all over the Sierra.
