Adaptive Level One

PREREQUISITES & PATHWAY

Pass Level 1 Assessment in primary discipline and choose adaptive certification track
Take and pass the Adaptive E-Learning Course
Register for and complete one-day assessment in discipline combination (Alpine-VI/Cog, Standup, or Mono-Ski/Bi Ski. Snowboard-Cog/VI, 3-track/4-track, or Bi-Ski/Mono-Ski)

Adaptive Prep

8:30am – Meet your clinician leader at the designated meeting location (a confirmation email noting the location will be emailed to you the day prior)

9:00am – 4:00pm – Plan to be on snow (lunch break will be provided)

Adaptive Exam

8:30am – Meet your clinician leader at the designated meeting location (a confirmation email noting the location will be emailed to you the day prior)

9:00am – 4:00pm – Plan to be on snow (lunch break will be provided)

ASSESSMENT FORMS

Adaptive Level Two

PREREQUISITES & PATHWAY

Level Two Specialist

Register for and pass the Adaptive Alpine or Snowboard Level 2 Professional Knowledge written test.
Pass any of the adaptive discipline specific assessments. Individuals can pass any number or combination of disability assessments.

Level Two Adaptive Certification

Register for and pass the Adaptive Alpine or Snowboard Level 2 Professional Knowledge written test.
Register for and successfully complete all adaptive discipline assessments in primary discipline.
Pass Level 2 Assessment in primary discipline.

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Choose the Adaptive discipline that suites you. You will spend the day going through the Teaching Skills, Technical Skills, and Movement Analysis Skill necessary to show Level 2 competency. There are multiple adaptive disciplines to choose from in both alpine and snowboard. Successful candidates at individual modules will become Adaptive Level 2 specialists, successful candidates in all modules ( Alpine or Snowboard) will become Adaptive Level 2 Certified.

Register for and pass the Adaptive Alpine or Snowboard Level 3 Professional Knowledge written test.
Pass any of the adaptive discipline specific assessments that they hold the Level 2 Specialist Credential in.

Level Three Adaptive Certification

Register for and pass the Adaptive Alpine or Snowboard Level 2 Professional Knowledge written test.
Pass Level 2 Assessment in primary discipline.
Register for and successfully complete all adaptive discipline assessments in primary discipline.
