This coming season is an Interski year for the world, and our PSIA-AASI Western Education Foundation reserved two (2) scholarship spots for someone from our region to attend this event, which is already sold out.Here’s how to apply.

  1. This is a Sodergren Fund Scholarship, so first, click this link and review who is eligible to receive this type of scholarship.
  2. Then, read the information below About Interski.
  3. If you’re interested in applying for a scholarship to attend Interski, click this link to submit your application by or before 11:59 p.m. PT on Monday, August 22. No letter of recommendation is needed.

The PSIA-AASI Western Education Foundation will then review all applications and select two scholarship recipients. Applicants will be notified of the status of their application on Wednesday, August 31. If you receive the scholarship, PSIA-AASI will register you for the event.The PSIA-AASI Western Education Foundation will pay your event registration fee, which includes the items listed below under the “Registration Includes” section. PSIA-AASI will book your lodging reservation. You will room with another person from the delegation. Flight Details:PSIA-AASI members are responsible for booking their flights. Due to limited flight options from Helsinki to Kittila, PSIA-AASI partnered with a travel agent offering discounted flights to the USA delegation. Flights start and stop out of New York (JFK) and Chicago (ORD) and are limited in number. Those flights will cost $1,350 AND you must book your own flight to get to either New York (JFK) or Chicago (ORD). After registering for Interski, you’ll receive a confirmation email with more details about these rates and how to book these flights. If you prefer not to book the discounted flight with the travel agent, note that you’ll need to book your own flight.
