Fall Conference Adaptive Reports

What impressed me most was the struggle each discipline seemed to go through in order to arrive at a consensus about learning outcomes. For my group (Adaptive) all eight divisions of PSIA were represented. Differences were definitely present and yet we were able work to understand the various perspectives and find what we could agree upon.  The goal was to make National Standards a priority over our individual and divisional differences. The new and fantastic adaptive manual, as well as, the revived Matrix were explored. Ideas and guidelines for adding additional educational videos to matrix were established. A plan was made to continue the process of developing and refining learning outcomes, the Matrix, etc., utilizing Basecamp as a means of communicating with each other.
