When: Monday, January 8, 2024 - Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm PT (2 Days)
Location: Palisades Tahoe at Olympic Valley (The Pocket)
Details:
Welcome to snowsports instruction! This clinic is intended for those interested in becoming a snowsports instructor, especially those that have not yet joined a snowsports school. Developed by working instructors and PSIA-AASI Ed Staff, gain access to the basic competencies of good snowsports instruction. Participants will be introduced to the learning connection model, exploring the people skills, teaching skills, and technical skills that make up the foundation of great snowsports instruction. This course is a prerequisite for any member who is not working for a snowsports school and must be completed prior to registering for a Level 1 Exam.

Besides being fun and speaking 3 languages, Stephanie is Ed Staff and part of the National Team.

Ed staff do educational and certification events for our membership. They are emulating the behaviors from the learning connection model to create learning experiences for the membership and ultimately benefits our resort guests 😀
As for the National Team, it’s made up of the top ski and snowboard instructors from across the country. These professionals are some of the best skiers and riders in the game, and they are inspirational educators and lifelong learners. 🌟💪🏻
