2,325 STRONG AND GROWING!

Our Western community's resilience and commitment are outpacing expectations!
Member renewals have officially climbed to 2,325 active members, tracking a remarkable 10% ahead of our projected and budgeted milestones for this point in the pre-season.

We want every single instructor to thrive, which is why we are proud to remind you that Western remains the only region in the nation to offer a dedicated Financial Aid program to directly assist with the cost of dues.

We protect our own.

If you or a colleague need support to keep your professional edge this winter, applications are open right now and awards are available through Jan 15, 2027.

Don't let barriers stand in the way of your passion this season!

Sometimes the biggest achievement isn't the certification you earn.
It's the confidence you help someone else discover.
Because the best instructors don't just teach skiing—they inspire people to believe they can do more than they thought possible.

🎥 Watch @subhrojyotibanerjee share why helping others grow became the most rewarding part of the journey.

Every comeback has a story. For Doug GreenDyke, returning to the mountain after serious health challenges made every lesson, every student, and every day on snow even more meaningful.
His journey is a powerful reminder that resilience isn't measured by how quickly we recover—it's measured by the courage to keep showing up.
Here's to second chances, supportive communities, and doing what you love.

"The biggest lesson wasn't how to ski better. It was how to help others feel like they belong."

For Xiomara, the journey to PSIA-AASI Alpine Level I was about much more than earning a certification. It was about finding a community that believed in each other's success—and carrying that same spirit into every lesson on the mountain.

Because confidence grows when people feel welcome.

"The best part of PSIA-AASI is the community behind it."

For Tobias Pietz, joining PSIA-AASI meant finding much more than professional development—it meant finding a community.

People who challenge you.
People who support you.
People who celebrate your successes right alongside you.

Thinking about becoming an instructor or earning your certification? This is the kind of community waiting for you.
