A New Chapter for PSIA-AASI West: A Message from the Board of Directors

Dear PSIA-AASI Western Members,

We are writing to share an update regarding executive leadership for the Western Region.

Our Chief Executive Officer, Marisa Cooper, is stepping down to pursue new opportunities. On behalf of the Board of Directors, we express our sincere appreciation for her dedication, service, and contributions to our division over the past four years, and we wish her the very best in her future endeavors.

To guide regional operations into our next chapter, the Board established a leadership transition committee. We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Lynnea Anderson as Managing Director, leading day-to-day operations and member services for the Western Region.

Having served as our Deputy Director, Lynnea brings deep operational expertise, strong working relationships with our education teams and member schools, deep ties to the instructor community, and unmatched institutional knowledge. Transitioning to a Managing Director model with proven internal leadership ensures that our region maintains complete operational stability, financial health, and organizational momentum without missing a beat.

Our Board, staff, education staff, and task forces remain fully aligned and energized as we deliver high-caliber clinics, exams, and certifications for the upcoming 2026–27 season.

Please join us in thanking Marisa for her service and congratulating Lynnea on her new role!

Sincerely,

The Board of Directors

PSIA-AASI Western Division
